BS EN ISO 14001: 2004 OCTOBER 2005
Petrochem Carless Ltd and it's employees recognise that they have a key role to play in the management of the Environment, not least in the meeting of the legal and other external requirements which relate to environmental impacts. In October 2005 the Company achieved a significant milestone with the accreditation of the main manufacturing facility to the externally verified BS EN ISO 14001 standard.
Having a documented environmental management system (EMS) has enabled the Company to review it's environmental performance and to commit to continuous improvements throughout it's operations by setting and reviewing clear objectives and targets. Employee awareness and understanding has been raised by regular briefings covering topics such as emissions to the environment and setting goals and standards for environmental performance.
